The best part of my stay was the cozy atmosphere and the delicious breakfast options, especially those fluffy omelets! However, the room could've used a little more cleanliness. Overall, decent but with some room for improvement! 😊

The room was recently renovated and had a whirlpool tub that was perfect for relaxing after a long drive, which I really enjoyed. I also appreciated the availability of a nice breakfast spread and the opportunity to unwind at the outdoor pool. The only downside was that the breakfast sausages didn’t quite look done, but overall, it was a pleasant stay! 😊

I loved how everything I wanted to explore was just minutes away, particularly the Tobacco Farm Life Museum of Virginia, which is a great spot for a leisurely stroll, but the hotel itself could benefit from some updates to improve guest comfort.

I had a decent stay at the Quality Inn in South Hill. The rooms were clean, which was a relief after hearing some horror stories. The breakfast included make-your-own waffles, sausage, and boiled eggs, which I enjoyed. The staff was friendly. I appreciated their help when I checked in and during breakfast. However, I encountered a few issues. A couple of flies greeted me when I entered my room, but a bit of bug spray took care of that. The surrounding area was convenient, with a shopping strip right across the street, which made grabbing meals easy. On the downside, the smoking room I initially got into was really unbearable. Despite all this, the hotel ambiance had a warm and inviting feel.

The room was just okay. The bed was pretty hard, and the bathroom had some maintenance issues like a loose towel rack. No cable TV, which was a bummer. Not the fanciest place but it got the job done for a night.

It was a perfect match for a stopover in South Hill with good price-value balance. The front desk staff was very helpful in providing me with some Febreeze when the smoke smell became unbearable. If you have allergies, consider checking for non-smoking options in advance.
